Government and used cars have one thing in common; they both have verifiable histories. When a car is faulty it is a money pit. When government is faulty (having been founded on contemporary traditions) it is a money pit.
This topic goes back to the definition of being crazy: keep trying the same old methods believing that somehow it is going to be different this time around. Incorporation in LA? This area already wreaks of economic havoc with assurances of worsening slum conditions and increased crime. And, the tremendous costs of a new city haven't been openly and honestly discussed as yet.

incorporation is somewhat like buying a used car - if you find one that has been impeccably taken care of it's definitely worth taking a look - one that has never had the oil changed needs close scrutiny and consideration
Well, first I guess we have to consider just who, or what, our 'leaders' are. I will stand corrected but as I see it the 'leaders' are developers, investors and wanna-be public 'servants'. Again, as I see it the constituents of all these folks are those standing at the public trough.
The ever-growing number of constituent-'voters' may tip the tide in favor of incorporation. Sadly, nowhere are the bill-payers being considered or represented in the move to incorporate.
